In the Path of Love: A Short Study of the Long History of Bhakti

Bhakti is perhaps the oldest, the most ancient spiritual and religious traditions of humanity, going back to pre-recorded history. The path of heart-led devotion is expressed through stone and poetry, dance and art, is textured with emotion and localized flavor. This offering shares an insightful short study into the long history of Bhakti delving into the interplay of gender, culture, politics, religions, nationalism and languages. Anjali will offer ways into practicing bhakti in authentIc ways on and off the yoga mat, and share more about the upcoming Yoga and Gender cohort

This is a free offering and all are welcome.
